Treasured Peruvian Aura

Stonyridge Comstock named after one of the most important silver discoveries in United States history, is the product of one of an Aussie Rockford daughter, and Bisturi, a striking grey herdsire standing stud at Amanda Vandenbosch's Flying Dutchman Alpacas. This boy has an amazing pedigree generations deep. He balances his grey genetics with the the heady bloodlines from Peruvians White Out, Drambuie, Olympus, Felix, and Victor. Throw in a dose of Bolivian density and color, and this boy has much going for him. Once he wows you on paper, he continues to impress with conformation, and fleece traits. Comstock has a very square boxy conformation , with an awesome head type Bisturi is known for. He has excellent bone, and his compact frame is covered head to toe with crimpy bright silver fleece that is reflective in nature, with a soft slick hand. We knew this guy was carrying a soft fleece, and his 1st year histogram supports out belief. At 20.5 micron, he is going to be a positive addition to a breeding program focusing on competitive grey fleeces. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Comstock's first crias in 2015.
